I know we are all watching to see the membership meter turn over the 100,000 mark. It looks like today is the day! When I saw Active Rain, I said to myself this will be powerful. I never imagined how powerful and how fast.
The folks that created this wonderful forum, made something really special. It took real vision to create this and to keep it improving and growing. To think only a couple of years ago this was just an idea on a napkin.
Since joining I have made many new friends, both in person and online. Several great clients have found me by reading my blog posts. I have learned and grown thanks to the knowledge we share here.
I just want to say THANK YOU for everyone responsible for creating this tremendous forum and for all of the members who have made it what it is.
I am looking forward to the new improvements and the many new members who will continue to come.
Good luck for the rest of 2008!

Randy - I agree, kudos to all those who work so hard to keep the hamsters spinning here! This is really a wonderful platform, with benefits to all involved.
Penny - It is the best thing going on the internet.
Hi Randy - As I was writing a post on this same topic this morning, AR passed the 100K mark. I think it happened between 9:30 and 10:00 AM PST. Amazing how much the site has grown in a little over two years, and how much it has given to so many of us.
John - I am looking at the meter it is still showing: 99,938 members.
Maybe by monday we will break the 100k mark! Then soon on to 1 million members strong!
Randy, I heard that we won't actually see the 100,000, but after 99,999 will roll over to zero. something about the system not being able to display 6 digits. I guess like y2k or something like that.
It's been a struggle but I see even more exciting time ahead.
Randy I have invited several people to join over the last few days but no have joined yet.
I remember when we all made a big deal over going over 10,000 members :)
I bet it will not be long before we are talking about a half a million.
Randy, exactly! This is an AWESOME network.
At long last we may reach our fabled goal of 100K sometime today or tomorrow! congrats to all who are in that number.
62 to go. That's a lot of people to all gather together in one place. Hey, have a great weekend.
The growth has been amazing. The word gets out when something good comes along!
Hello Randy, Nice post and they are my sentiments exactly. I am looking forward to networking with all the other 99,999 members out there!
Mike - We already passed the 100,000 mark. The meter at the top of the page gets updated once a day.
Peter - That would be lame.
Lenn - I am sure of it.
George - I bet the next 100,000 will come much faster than for the 100,000.
David - It is because of great members like you.
Klargue - We have passed the mark! :)
Patrick - We have made the mark! I have been watching for this to happen. What an achievement.
Gary - The word is definitely out. I have agents ask me about blogging on a regular basis.
Lori - Just a few more members than I have time to communicate with. I will hit as many as I can.
Randy,
I remember joining in 2006 and there were only a few hundred members...I didn't even use this for the first 6 months because I didn't understand it at that time...now look at us. I still think Sally is chasing you though:)
Neal - I was trying to remember how many members there were when I joined. I know it wasn't that many.
