Hawaii Randy's Real Estate Opinions: Aloha to Donna Shefcheck - Good Luck in Alaska

Aloha to Donna Shefcheck - Good Luck in Alaska

Donna ShefcheckDonna Shefcheck got her real estate license and joined us a little while back at Century 21 Liberty Homes.  She is an archeologist and wanted to learn our real estate business.  During her short tenure with our company, she assisted me with several of my transactions including holding open houses and keeping up the files.

I also had the privilege of helping Donna with her first transaction.  We found one of her archeologist friends a really nice deal for a condo.

Donna was offered a job in Alaska working on the BP Conoco Natural Gas line for the summer.  Her work will be part of the environmental study.  Our loss is Alaska's gain.

Donna will be joined by her loyal companion Lucky (her dog).  At her going away party today both her and lucky had the privilege of swimming on the north shore and being joined by a couple of sea turtles.  I am sure that will add to her memories of our paradise here in Hawaii.

Nice tribute to another human-being!  It was great you helped her in developing some skills.  Sounds like she is reverting back to her natural talent.  I'm sure she is appreciative of all you did to enhance her chops.

It's always hard to say goodbye to those who we have come to enjoy a friendship with... seems like it's part of our world ... saying goodbye a lot.

Morning Randy,

Nice recognition post. Donna sounds like someone we would all enjoy being associated with. Your loss is truly Alaska"s gain.

Donna, good luck, your new adventure sounds like a great, fun assignment. Top it off with the fact that it will be summer there soon!

Charles - I have not been there yet.  Alaska airlines will be flying direct to Hawaii this year, so maybe we will take a family vacation next year there.

Neal - I think she is working on a new natural gas pipeline they are about to build.

Find a Notary - Thank you

Thanks Everyone!  I'm here now!  I am having fun hanging out with my neice and my sister.  Lucky loves it here.  I haven't taken him swimming yet, though.  There was a notice on the front page of the paper that three dogs went to the vet emergency room in the past month because of beaver bites!  I'm not so sure Lucky can sustain a beaver bite.  We'll see how he handles mooses!!  The wonderful encouragement and well-wishes practically brought me to tears.  I appreciate the opportunity to have worked with Randy and learned everything he could teach me.  I'll miss Hawaii's warm weather.  Pictures to come soon.  I'll let you all know how the underwater scene is over here.

Take Care, Everyone!
